Deceased. Antonin considers his cruel and an overly religious hypocrite. They never got along well and Antonin did not bother showing up to the funeral. Danica Dolohov nee Stover - Mother. Deceased. Died during childbirth, Antonin never knew her but liked to pretend she was a lovely lady. Morten Dolohov - Brother. Deceased. The oldest Dolohov who thought it was his duty to take over the role of 'father' while Inge was away on business. He was extremely ambitious and followed closely in his father's footsteps. He died on his 42nd birthday to a 'stroke'. Johan Dolohov - Brother. Deceased. The middle child and closest relative to Antonin. Antonin took his death extremely hard as he was the only member of his family that he actually cared for as they shared a lot of the same ideals. P E R S O N A L I T Y Antonin is a follower, not a leader. He liked to bask in other's glory and help them achieve their sick and twisted plans. His only concern is to be given the freedom and protection to continue his work in the Dark Arts. He fancies himself an intellectual experimenter. He experiments mostly with spells, but dabbles a bit in potions as well. So far he has come up with tweny-eight of his own dark spells to use while dueling. Many have not caught on enough to become popular, but he uses them himself none the less. His fascination with the Dark Arts was given to him at an early age from attending school at Durmstrang and quite simply he enjoys it. It could be argued that Antonin is slightly on the insane side, but he is odly coherent and his ideals make enough sense to ensare the minds of the lesser learned. He himself is highly intelligent having recieved top marks in school, but probably developed a small case of schizophrenia due to his years of experiments. Sometimes he can be caught muttering to himself as he pours over books upon books but the theories he writes could make a lot of sense in an exetencial sort of way. Antonin never married nor dated through all his years. Many speculate that this is because he is actually homosexual, but in reality he never wanted any woman to get in the way of his studies or work. He has, however, picked up the reputation for being a pervy child fancier though it is unknown as to if he has actually ever raped or had sex with one of these children. A P P E A R A N C E Played By: Crispin Glover Antonin is rather tall (standing at 5 feet 11 inches) and lanky (at a mere 130 pounds). He has long greasy dark brunette hair that he wears slicked back and deep twinkling grey eyes. He had no real sense of style as he generally wears a simple black robe, but when he does chose to dress up he does so in old victorian fashion complete with ruffled shirts. He is a proper fellow and holds himself up straight with a perfect posture, but his stride is quick and determined. He still speaks with a Danish accent. H I S T O R Y Antonin was the third born child of Danica and Inge Dolohov. He was the youngest of the lot and had two older brothers. They were all nearly five years apart in age due to their mother's small obsession with the number five. She died before she could get to her fifth child while giving birth to Antonin. Antonin still has his theories about his father Inge murdering his mother and simply blaming it on his birth, but he kept it to himself until his father's dying day. Inge was extremely well off for a simple Danish businessman. He apparently had the flare for business and was good at manipulation, extortion and embezellment. He wanted his children to follow in his footsteps, but the only child that he got his wish from was his oldest Morten. He was quick to berate (often physically) Antonin and Johan for not wanting to be more like their brother. By the time Morten was tweny and Antonin only five, Morten had already been placed directly under Inge in the business. Antonin never had a chance to compete with that and neither did Johan. The two younger brothers decided to rebel in whatever ways they could; their childhood was not pleasant. Their father was hardly around and since their mother had died with the birth of Antonin they were mostly raised by a hired nurse. Antonin went to Durmstrang when he turned eleven and was glad to be out of the Dolohov Manor. Johan was close to completion at Durmstrang and Antonin had several shadows to follow after. While Johan did his best to watch over his little brother he was so busy with school he hardly found the time. Antonin was pretty much alone in regards to family at Durmstrang and fell quickly into the Dark Arts. Johan found out about this two months before he graduated from Durmstrang and did what he could to stop his youngest brother from going down the path, but it did not help and only caused Johan to be estranged from Antonin. During the summer of his third year Antonin did not return home, but recieved special care from the Headmaster of Durmstang (whom he was close with) and stayed at the school for the rest of his summers. He continued in the Dark Arts and found he had a natural flare and strong love for the unforgivable curses. By the time Antonin had turned 25 he had lost his entire family to strokes and various murders. He was pretty much on his own at this point, but it left him with the need to find a new family. It was around this time that Antonin discovered Tom Riddle (as he was known at the time) and became one of his first Death Eaters. Antonin was present at the Inn when Tom requested a teaching position from Dumbledore and continued being present at every single large failure and victory the Dark Lord had from then on out. Antonin was one of the Death Eaters responsible for the murder of Gideon and Fabian Prewett and was thrown in Azkaban after the fall of his Lord. He never once denied his loyalty to the Lord because he believed fervently that he would be released and allowed to continue his work in the Dark Arts one day. When the day did come that he was released he found himself at Voldemort's side once more. He was present at the Battle at the Ministry of Magic as well as the Battle for Hogwarts where he was defeated by Filius Flitwick, but not killed. Occupational History: Professional Death Eater. All of his father's money was left to him after the death of his oldest brother. He's never truly worked a day in his life. He revels in experimenting with the Dark Arts and has quite a few 'signature' moves when dueling.
